Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
  • Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix fundamentals and shell scripts
  • Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent
  • Strong DevOps experience in implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment for Java/Python/AngularJS/ReactJS projects
  • Hands-on experience with build and deployment automation using Jenkins (pipelines), Maven, Unix, Shell Script and Python
  • Nice to have one of the Configuration management tools, Ansible is desired
  • Familiarity with Docker and deployment of Dockerized applications
  • Proficient in DevOps Engineering skills as well as multiple design techniques
  • Working proficiency in DevOps Engineering development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies with ability to work in at least one of the common frameworks
  • Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency and security
  • Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
