Talent Navigation Experts is partnering with our client in Lakewood, Colorado to help them locate a Test Automation Developer that will provide support in the development and maintenance of automation needs across their applications products, projects, and services.

The Test Automation Developer works closely with developers, system engineers/admins, DBA's, and other QA groups to improve the continuous integration and delivery processes.

This is a key part of one of their Software Delivery Teams 

Day to Day:

• Test complex API software from analysis to implementation.
• Design, automate, and maintain test scripts. Also, do maintenance and debugging of existing scripts.
• Help drive Behavior Driven Development (BDD); use BDD to reconcile the business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Delivery Teams and Testing groups.
• Ensure best practices and standards are followed
• Create and maintain proper documentation

Needed:

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years experience. 5 years post high school ed without bachelors may be considered.
• Experience some , but not all of the following in testing: Functional, System, Integration, Regression, Exploratory, Negative, Smoke.
• Experience with scripting languages using Java, C#, VBScript, or other OO development languages.
• Experience testing and automating REST and/or SOAP Services
• Unified Functional Tester (UFT), Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), or other related testing tools, is a plus
• Experience with source repositories, such as GitHub is a plus
• Experience with SQL and general knowledge of RDBMS concepts, is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the differences of both GUI and API testing.
