Job Description

Our client, a global services firm located in midtown NYC seeks a Python and Airflow developer to join their growing team. Citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Requirements
  • 5+ yrs experience with Python
  • Experience working on Data Science techniques and methods
  • 1+ yr of professional Airflow experience
  • 1+ yr of experience with Postgres and Redis
  • Experience working on production use of Flask
  • Knowledge of Anti-money laundering (AML) software
  • Exposure and some level of usage in one or more of {Scala, Java} is a plus
  • Nice to have ELK Stack and Prometheus experience
Responsibilities
  • Work with new technology, focus on using the right tool for the job, rather than any sticky preference for a tool or technology
  • Learn and share knowledge across our engineering teams, so we can continue to iterate and improve
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Design and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
  • Work on implementation of security and data protection projects
  • Collaborate and work on integration of data storage solutions
  • Focus on performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability and automation
