To drive these generative Artificial Intelligence experiences, Microsoft relies on ambitious advances in applied Artificial Intelligence research. The Business Copilot Artificial Intelligence team is changing how business users interact with various Microsoft Business Applications, including Dynamics 365 / Power Platform and Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)

    o OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)

    o OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)

    o OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) people management experience.
  • 2+ years of enterprise experience in any combination of following technologies: machine learning, deep learning, NLP, data mining, information retrieval.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
    OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
    OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 7+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research)
    OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ year(s) people management experience.
  • 5+ years of academic or industry experience in areas of machine learning, data science with preference for Natural Language Processing
  • 5+ years of experience in C#, C++, Java or Python.
  • Research experience (publications) in the following areas is preferred machine learning, deep learning, NLP, data mining, information retrieval.

Bring structure to problems, decomposing them into scalable solutions that drive measurable business impact.
Translate business requirements into concrete deliverables, including design, development, testing, and deployment of analytical solutions and scalable ML solutions.
