Business Analyst

Business System Analyst (BA). The BA must have experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs, including documenting requirements, supporting the development of systems to align with business strategies, and providing consultation on complex projects as a top level contributor. The BA must have experience with early childhood data or knowledge of the early childhood context. The BA will work as part of a team to develop the Early Childhood Integrated Data System (ECIDS). Responsibilities: 1. Develop formal documentation to define and map data elements for ECIDS; 2)Develop requirements and business rules for receipt of data from multiple agencies for ECIDS; 3)Develop requirements for design of reports for ECIDS; and 4)Implement and report out on progress toward and risks with project tasks in collaboration with the team. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field; 8+ yrs experience as a business analyst; experience with software development lifecycle, requirements gathering and documentation, managing client relationships, business process analysis, project management software, software development life cycle, user interface designs for web applications, and developing strategies/processes to improve business workflow; knowledge of Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and familiarity with FERPA requirements; strong and clear written and verbal communication skills. --------------------------------------------
